Wildesoft is one developer's business, and that developer is me. I founded it in 2004, I write the code, and when you work with Wildesoft you deal with me directly, from the first call to the system you'll still be using years later.

What I do

I build, modernise and connect the systems behind a business: portals, CRMs, ordering, Xero and payment integrations, all on Microsoft .NET. I've worked through every generation of .NET, so I can start something new on .NET 10, and I can also take over a system written fifteen years ago and move it forward without stopping the business that depends on it. Where AI genuinely helps, I use it, and I'll tell you plainly where it doesn't.

Most of my clients have been with me for years. I don't hand over a system and walk away: because I wrote the code, I know it, and I keep looking after it as the business grows. The case studies show that work in detail, written by me, with the business problem, what I built and what changed.

Background

I've been writing software since 1996 and building business systems on .NET since I founded Wildesoft in 2004. The business became a limited company, Wildesoft.net Ltd (company number 10619567), and is based in Bromyard, Herefordshire. My clients are across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and the West Midlands, in London, and in Denmark and Sweden.

I've also been a coordinator of the Hereford Next Generation software developer user group, helping local developers share what they know.

How I work

  • I want to understand the business reason behind a change before I write it, so what I build fits the way you already work.
  • Every system I look after has its own tests, logging and a repeatable deployment, so changes are safe and problems are spotted early.
  • I tell you how it is, including when the simplest answer is not to build something.
