The Business Problem

To display documents to farmers, the Portal converts files through a "hot folder" on the server. Nothing was emptying that folder. Left alone, it would steadily fill the server's disk until the Portal stopped working – most likely at the worst possible moment, with farmers unable to see or sign their paperwork.

wildesoft.net built and deployed a dedicated housekeeping service that runs automatically in the background, clearing out working files once they are no longer needed and keeping the server tidy without anyone having to remember to do it.

The Result

A silent, slow-building risk to the Portal has been removed. Farmers can rely on their documents being available, and CXCS no longer depends on someone noticing a full disk before it causes an outage.
